Job Description: A well-established South African organisation with a diversified group structure is looking for a Group Financial Manager to join its finance team in JHB East. This is a senior group finance role offering exposure to consolidated reporting, group financial management and complex financial structures , with the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full group consolidation process across multiple entities Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial reporting Review and consolidate entity-level financial information Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments Ensure accurate group reporting within required deadlines Prepare and review group management reporting packs Oversee month-end and year-end reporting processes Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements Review financial results and identify key variances and trends Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes Maintain strong financial controls across the group Liaise with internal and external auditors Drive improvements across group reporting and consolidation processes Provide technical accounting guidance to finance teams where required Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualification: CA(SA) essential Experience: 3-5 years post-qualification experience Strong Group Finance experience Full consolidation experience essential Proven experience managing the end-to-end consolidation process Experience across multiple entities advantageous Strong financial reporting and technical accounting exposure Experience engaging with senior stakeholders Technical Skills: Group consolidations Financial reporting IFRS Intercompany eliminations Management reporting Advanced Excel ERP\/accounting systems The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who is: Technically strong and commercially minded Highly analytical and detail-oriented Confident working with complex group structures Deadline-driven and organised Strong in stakeholder engagement Comfortable taking ownership of the consolidation process Able to identify issues and provide practical solutions A confident communicator with strong leadership capability Why consider this opportunity?
